EVENT FACT SHEET

THE ORGANIZERS: Bluehouse & Associates Consultants together with its associated companies have executed more than 35 local and international trade events in various cities in Kenya and the neighboring East African states of Uganda, Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda and DRC CONGO. We have partnered with major organizations through invitations to organize world class events on their behalf since 1994.

Some of them are Kenya Private Sector Alliance, Kenya Chamber of Commerce, National Museums of Kenya, Kenya Medical Research Institute, Ministry of Planning, Nairobi Stock Exchange Jordan Export Promo Council Mozambique Embassy, Nairobi, and Confederation of Informal Sector Organization, (EA).

ELECTRICAL EXPO: In the past, the electrical exhibition component in most shows in Kenya and other East African countries has always been a small section within the building and construction events.

We have decided to give electricity the prominence it deserves in this part of the world by planning the premier EXPO.

Specifically address ELECTRICITY.

This is because electricity is the main mobilizer of development in industry, commerce, housing and other infrastructure.

Kenya and other East African states have been experiencing long electric power rationing for many years and this is the time the sector is being given a priority.

To this end countries like Kenya have now initiated the Rural Electrification programme to provide power to the rural areas.

However, this region has to import electrical accessories, lightings, generators, fittings and other necessities from foreign countries.

Hence the need to have the ELECTRICAL EXPO 2010 (EA). ELECTRICAL EXPO 2010 EAST AFRICA will feature products and services in key electric process:

2. Transmission

3. Distribution

4. Installation

5. Consumption

6. Consultation and other services

EXHIBITORS: We expect over 100 exhibition booths to be booked. There will be both displays and sales, including demonstrations.

VISITORS: We expect over 40,000 trade visitors to the Expo drawn from East Africa and other parts of the world.

PUBLICITY: As per our event profile below, print and electronic media organs will be mobilized to reach the targeted audience and professionals in the construction industry, trade, factories and distributors among others.

VISAS: The organizers will assist where necessary. However we request our participants to get ready in advance to avoid last minute disappointments.

CLEARING/CUSTOMS: International regulations and treaties on the goods will apply.

Organizers will avail reputable clearing agents if needed.

HOTELS: It is the duty of the visitor to advise the organizers what kind of budgets to facilitate appropriate bookings.

PAYMENTS: On choosing the expo and catalog space, the relevant invoice will be availed to enable immediate transfer of the required payments.

CONFERENCE: We still continue to receive abstracts from various destinations. A separate information package for the conference is available.

OTHER SERVICES: We shall handle any other information or service on a case to case basis.
